Chances are you’re here because you have been wetting your pants, running to the bathroom, or you’re tired of living with pain. You want to get back to feeling the way you used to as quickly as possible. Just as importantly, you don’t want the problem to return. If this describes you, you’re at the right place. Our therapist has advanced knowledge, skills, and experience to deliver the highest quality pelvic floor care possible to both male and female patients. Our therapist does only treat your symptoms, but she also uncovers the source of the problem and gives you the tools to correct the issue so it does not return. That’s why all patients receive a comprehensive head-to-toe evaluation to uncover the root cause of the symptoms. At McNeill Physical Therapy and Wellness, you will always be treated by the same therapist who will customize a plan that allows you to quickly eliminate your symptoms and return to the activities you enjoy most.
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a treatment to help address dysfunction in the pelvic floor muscles. The type of therapy prescribed will depend upon the symptoms you’re experiencing. Some will require relaxing and lengthening of the muscles, while others may require strengthening the muscles. Pelvic floor physical therapy can improve symptoms such as urinary and bowel problems, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and other pelvic conditions.
